Born April 9, 1962

William R. Bill Udinski, Sr., age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

Bill was born in Rochester, NY on April 9, 1962 to Edward S. Udinski and J. Irene (McMorran) Udinski. He was an HVAC/CAD designer for several local companies until recently starting his own home improvement business.

Charasmatic and outgoing, Bill was a fun loving guy. He went out of his way to lend a hand to anyone in need. Active in his community, Bill was an officer at the Newark Moose Lodge No. 630. He enjoyed skiing, motorcycles, horseshoes and shooting pool. Bill was a devoted family man and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward and a niece, Diana Wertz. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra J. (Angeny) Udinski; mother, Irene Udinski; children, Megan, Raine and Arianna; stepchildren, Richard and Natalie Poplos; sisters, Janet Taylor, Nancy Choma, and Sherrie Bond; brother, Mark Udinski; and 3 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE 19711, where visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with funeral costs may be sent in care of the funeral home at the address listed above.

  • I haven’t seen bill in about 18 years , but I can tell You he was a Friend when I ran into him I hadn’t seen him in a few years and got a Big Smile on his face and shook my hand and gave a Big Hug. Bill was always friendly all through High School there was never a time if passing in the hall way he would acknowledge you or another friend ,I can say He was A Very Well liked guy . Although I haven’t see bill since I moved downstate I will feel the loss of a longtime friend , My Prayers and Condolences go out to His Family .

  • I always remember when I was starting 7th grade at Stanton Jr High Bill came by and put his hand on my shoulder and boosted himself over the gym wall.I said hey buddy knock off the boost up.I did not know who Bill was all my friends said Bill was going to beat my ass for giving him crap I will always Thank Bill for not beating me up.Bill Rest in Peace my friend.You will be missed by all. We walked in the Maplecrest Park, Where My Brothers children placed some of his ashes, the 3 trees area(picnic table), the bridge and the creek. Billy and I walked the old haunts of three Best friends!! David R, Billy U, and Joey P.(fester) We grew up went our separate ways but always we are/were there for each other the boys have always been like brothers to each other and me!

I always seemed to run into him at a gas station every few years ..
