Alan Wise Chipman, age 31, died in the early hours of Saturday, July 23, 2022, after losing a long battle with addiction.

For those that knew Alan, he had a smile that could light up a room. Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of his absence. Although he was not strong enough to overcome his addiction, he will always be loved and missed by those who knew him.

Alan is survived by his aunt and uncle, Marliese and Robert Ljuba; Pamela Chipman; siblings, Lance Jones, Laura Jones, and Taylor Williams; and cousins, Alex Ljuba and Morgan Ljuba. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Chipman; paternal grandmother, Penny Chipman; and maternal grandmother, Gertrud Vincent.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 105500 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, FL. Inurnment will follow in the adjoining columbarium.

Lance gave Alan hair cutting supplies and Alan gave my Dad probably the best haircut he ever had. The two had a blast together. That was a very good day with lots of laughter and smiles.
