Ms. Amanda Lynn Quillen, age 32, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
Born in Wilmington on April 17, 1980, Amanda was employed as a certified dental assistant. She enjoyed raising rabbits and watching old movies. Most of all, she delighted in spending time with her friends and her family, especially her beloved daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheyanne R. Halter of Newark; father, Norman R. Quillen III of New Castle; mother, Sarah K. Lawson Quillen (Gerald) of Elkton, MD; brother, Michael P. Quillen (Katie) of Newark; and nephew, Brendan.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Friday, January 18th, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE 19720, where visitation will begin at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
