Anna M. Marion

Anna M. Marion, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at her home in Middletown, DE.
She was born in 1927, in Chester, PA, to the late Warren and Edna Rhoades.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, her last wishes were that her family and friends celebrate in her passing as she is going Home where she will be free of Parkinson’s disease and surrounded by loved ones.

She joins in Heaven, her husband, Ray (Bud) Marion (1926-1996), and her daughter, Joanne Kwiatkowski (1951-2013). She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Harold (Buddy) Rhoades, Robert Rhoades, William Rhoades, and sisters, Helen Hanby, Elizabeth (Sissy) Payne and Evelyn Ouseley.

She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Marion (Nancy), of Fort Collins, CO; David Marion (Joyce), of Grand Terrace, CA; Jeff Marion (Karen), of Newark, DE; her son-in-law, W. Robert Kwiatkowski, of Middletown, DE; seven grandchildren and many great-children; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Seasons Hospice who took such good care of Anna in her last days.

Services will be held privately.
