Mrs. Barbara S. Black, age 66, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at her home after a courageous, six-year battle with cancer.
Mrs. Black was born in Baltimore, MD, on September 10, 1946, daughter of the late Henry I. Sinsz and Delores Foster Sinsz. A talented homemaker, she devoted her life to caring for her beloved family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Marty Black; son, Jason E. Black (Colleen) of Cape May, NJ; daughter, Michelle S. McCullough (Kevin) of Elkton, MD; brothers, Phillip Sinsz (Kitty) of Baltimore, MD, and Ron Sinsz (Angie) of Cape May Courthouse, NJ; and grandchildren, Dakota Black, Jasmine Black, Keaton Black, Katelyn McCullough, and Jordan McCullough.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, where visitation will begin at 10 am.
