Beverly A. Hunt

Beverly A. Hunt, age 81, of Dover, DE, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Born on September 8, 1939 in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Sommers) McCartney. After graduating high school, Beverly entered the manufacturing industry as a line worker. She was a fan of Elvis and enjoyed classical music, especially the sound of the violin. Beverly will always be remembered as a caring, generous, and funny person.

In addition to her father, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Veril W. Hunt; daughter, Cheryl Markland; siblings, George and Carol; and grandson, Randy Hunt. She is survived by her children, Tony Hunt of Dover, Steve Hunt of Newark, and Daniel Hunt of Dover; siblings, Judy and Tommy; 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, followed by a service at 11 am. Masks will be required for all in attendance. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
