Bradford “Brad” Elliot Lazartic, Sr.
December 19, 1982 - January 4, 2025
Bradford “Brad” Elliot Lazartic, Sr., age 42, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Born in Newark on December 19, 1982, Brad was a son of Beverly Smith and Jack Lazartic, Sr. A passionate sports fan, he was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. In his free time, Brad enjoyed fishing with his brother and friends. Brad was a devoted father, husband, son, and brother. His love for his family was immeasurable and his presence in their lives will be deeply missed.
Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Eva Lazartic and his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Lois Popkey. He is survived by his devoted wife, Monique Lazartic, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage; loving parents, Beverly Smith (Andy) and Jack Lazartic, Sr. (Joyce); children, Bradford, Jr. and Bella; brothers, Jack Lazartic, Jr. (Jessica) and Kirk Smith (Anna); beloved niece and nephew, Anthony and Adriana; lifelong friends, Jason Bredemeier, Tom Anderson and Jason Marlowe; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and all of whom were fortunate to know and love him.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will be held privately.
