Brendalee Betty “Brenda” Rodriguez

          Brendalee Betty “Brenda” Rodriguez, age 61, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

          Born in Wilmington, DE on July 15, 1957, she was a daughter of Betty Margaret (McDowell) and the late Teddy Roosevelt Baynard.  Brenda loved being a homemaker and her family was her life.

          She was an amazing individual with a large heart and was always willing to help others.  Brenda’s warmest memories were made spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend to many.

          Brenda is survived by the love of her life for 33 years, Juan Rodriguez; children, Savanna Gonzalez (Francisco), Eric Baynard (Jessica) and Brenda Baynard (Daniel); step-children, Juanita Adams, Fidelia Rodriguez, Isreal Rodriguez, Cathy Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez; sisters, Phyllis Baynard, Terrie Rowles; brother, Teddy Baynard; nine grandchildren; and niece, Amy Perdomo.

          A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
