Carol Sarver

Mrs. Carol Sarver, age 65, of Elkton, MD, and Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 4, 1947, Carol was the daughter of the late Melvin Austin Naylor and Dorothy Archibald Naylor. She had been employed as a customer service representative with Data Quick Lending Solutions in Wilmington, where she retired.
Carol was a Life Member of Thomas Cooper VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 475 in Newark, DE. In her leisure hours, she greatly enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading, and country line dancing.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James E. Sarver; sons, James “Ed” Sarver of Elkton, and Randy Sarver and wife Joanne of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Helen Waddell of Newark and Gail Simmons of Pompano Beach; and grandchildren, Emily, Julianna, Sierra, Ryan, and Tyler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Naylor and James Naylor.
A funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Monday, September 10, 2012, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, where visitation will begin at 5 pm.
