Charlotte F. “Arty” Martin

Charlotte F. “Arty” Martin, age 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 2, 1945, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Sara Alice (Cartwright) Fuller. Arty was employed by the State of Delaware as a accountant II, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service.

Active in her community, she was a member of Liberty Rebekah Lodge #10 I00F, where she served as Past Noble Grand and current Treasurer.  Arty also served as Past President with the Rebekah Assembly of Delaware, where she was awarded the title of Secretary Emeritus for 25 years of service. She was also a past Honor Queen of Jobs Daughters Bethel #3.

In addition to her parents, Arty was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Fuller, Carole Zook, Joyce Jones, David Fuller, Doris Wright, and Gerry Goad; and grandson, Robbie McCarthy. She is survived by her loving daughter, Veronica L. McCarthy; brother, Frank Fuller; and granddaughter, Alicia McCarthy.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 10:45 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a Rebekah service will begin at 10:45 am, followed by a memorial service at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
