Cheryl A. Baker, age 58, of Townsend, DE, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Cheryl was born on October 20, 1961, in Chester PA, she was the daughter of Gloria Jean (Evans) Kirkpatrick and the late Paul Kirkpatrick III. She worked as a Credit Supervisor for Equibank. Cheryl was very prideful for her accomplishments in high school. She was a captain of the Claymont High School volley ball team and a Captain of the Flaming Arrow Marching Band Color Guard. Cheryl loved to go to her beach house and enjoy life with her life time friend Mary Ann Richards, high school friends, new friends and family. But what she loved most was to be at home with her family and to spend time relaxing by her pond and swim in the pool with her beloved dogs Smokey and Dodge. 

Cheryl was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie McAllister. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her husband, Jacob Baker III, of Townsend; children, Jacob Baker, IV and Kyle Baker, both of Townsend; and sisters, Karen Valentine, of Magnolia and Bonnie Kirkpatrick, of Wilmington, Delaware.
