Clarence C. “Skip” Griffith, Jr., age 59, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.
Born in Wilmington, DE on May 21, 1961, he was the son of the late Clarence C. and Geraldine (Grabowski) Griffith, Sr. Skip worked at Industrial Plate in Wilmington for fifteen years followed by a stint as a truck driver for Family Thrift in Newport. He was a model car enthusiast and loved riding his ’67 Harley-Davidson Sportster. Skip was also a proud Washington Redskins fan.
He is survived by his children, Sabrina Griffith (George Hartnett) of New Castle and Casey Griffith of Newark; sisters, Veronica Griffith and Lisa Orr, both of New Castle; grandchildren, Shane, Juliana, Julian, Shyann, Joslynn, Aubrey, and Sunny; and former spouse and friend, Nancy Griffith of Bear.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Skip’s memory to the American Lung Association, Donation Processing Center, PO Box 11039, Lewiston, ME 04243.
