Crystal Taylor

July 19, 1973 - March 1, 2020

Crystal Taylor left us to be with Jesus on the morning of March 1, 2020. She was born in Lexington, KY to Jerry Allen Bishop, Sr. and Brenda Copley Raley on July 19, 1973.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother, nanny, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and more. Crystal’s loving heart and devotion to family and friends made her loved by all who met or knew her. Whether you grew up with her or knew her only a short time, you were family. “Step” was not in her vocabulary.

Crystal followed her fathers, Jerry Allen Bishop, Sr. and Charles Raley, and her sister, Brenda Lou in death. She is survived by her husband, Eric Taylor; her mother; and siblings, Jerry Allen, Jr., John, Cynthia, Rodney and Scotty. Crystal is also survived by Johnathan, Justin, Summer, Candice, Timmy, Aaron, Chris, Carla and other nieces and nephews, as well as Sean (Nettie) Taylor, Erica (Dustin) Tebbutt, plus Riley and Zooey Tebbutt.

A memorial service is planned for June in Kentucky.

Crystal loved children and hated cancer.  The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, P.O. Box 863765, Orlando, FL 32886.
