Dale Yvonne Robinson, age 74, of Bear, Delaware, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021, surrounded by her beloved family.

Born in Bronx, NY on February 8, 1947 to the late William Evans and Velma Kimball. She was a graduate of Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn, NY. She relocated to Bear, Delaware in 1995. She was employed at U.S.P.S. for 30 years and retired in 2004 as a Human Resource Specialist.

A devout Christian throughout her life, Dale Robinson was a dedicated member at St. Fortunata in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, swimming, the art of fine music, wagering a game of chance at the high roller tables, AKA “Casino’s” and spending quality time with grand and great grandchildren. Dale lived her life in a spirit filled capacity and passed her gift of faith to her beloved. She was a strong, warm, compassionate and fun-loving person, courageous in facing adversity.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen White. She leaves to cherish in memory her husband, John Robinson; son, Barry Chester; daughter, Tanya Chester; brothers, Charles White and Gary White; sisters, Brenda Thomas and Barbara Tomlin; granddaughters, Tanice Hinkson, Tiara Chester and Tabri Chester; great granddaughters, Tarajhi Westcott and Amorah Hinkson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Monday, June 21, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Road, Bear, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
