Daniel N. “Dan” Prall

Daniel N. “Dan” Prall, age 73, of Middletown, DE, passed away on August 23, 2019.
Born in Bedford, IN on November 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Nelson L. and Bertha L. Prall. In 1963, Dan graduated from Shawswick High School as valedictorian and from Purdue University in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Dan dedicated his career as a software engineer with DuPont, retiring after 30 years of service. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf and cheering on Eagles and Purdue basketball. Dan’s fondest memories were made during time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Prall; daughters, Nicole M. Prall and Cindy J. Prall-Messina, both of Middletown; brother, Eric Prall; and grandchildren, Samantha, Ashlee and Michael.
All services were held privately.

Dan was a great guy to work with and work for. Had many good times together working on DuPont manufacturing projects. I must have just missed him at ACE but had a few chances to see him when he came back from time to time. I’ll miss seeing his entries atop the football pool and reminiscing.
