Donald Paul “Don” Reed

Donald Paul “Don” Reed, age 60, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021.
Born in West Palm Beach, FL on July 22, 1961, he was a son of the late Donald and Carole (Cole) Reed. Don graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1979. He later attended Florida State University and Southwestern Community College. Don worked as a fire arms instructor, park ranger, and a criminal investigator at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. He dedicated nearly 13 years, retiring on September 30, 2015.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, boating and camping. Don also enjoyed golfing and listening to music. Of all his passions, he loved his family the most. Don will always be remembered as a loving husband and devoted father. He will be dearly missed.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann (Moore) Reed; daughter, Erin Reed; son, DJ Reed; sister, Pam Craighead (Michael); and brothers, Doug Reed (Laura) and Dave Reed (Kelli).
All services will be held privately.

Dad, you were such a devoted husband and father. You would do absolutely anything for your family. I’m so sorry that you had this terrible disease that robbed you from us and this life. I know you’re in peace now. Please watch over me, and send me signs that you’re still here. I love you so much and will never forget you. If i ever have kids, I’ll make sure they know about you.
