Emma Evelyn Davis

Emma Evelyn Davis, age 89, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021.
Born in Chester, PA, on December 16, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Leuella Himes. Emma worked as a homemaker for many years, cherishing the ability to care for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed drawing and arts and crafts. More than anything, Emma enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Davis and stepson, Jimmy Davis. She is survived by her children, Joey Davis, Ricky Davis, Irma “Ernie” Davis, Cathy Davis, Mary Trout, John Davis, Carol Davis, Sara Marcus, George Davis, Nancy Davis, and Bobby Davis; stepchildren, Tommy Davis, Ruthann Bailey, and Harry Davis; sister, Laura Winnick; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
All services will be held privately.
