Evelyn L. “Ebbie” Curry, age 67, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Born in Franklin County, NC on August 22, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Beaulah (Evans) Alston. Ebbie dedicated her life to her family as a talented homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed singing, dancing and playing bingo. Ebbie was quite active in her retirement home, often attending Sunday services and casino night. Above all, Ebbie loved spending time with her family.
In addition to Ebbie’s mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas James Curry; and siblings, Tarez Alston and Bettie Perry. She is survived by her daughter, Keisha M. Curry of Middletown; siblings, Shirley Williams, Alma Alston, Pat Blassingale, Joanie Alston, Gina Alston and Deborah Alston-Collazo; grandchildren, David N. Toney and Tori-Lynn B. Glover; and great grandchildren, Kya, Kayden and Kage.
A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
