  • We are mourning with you the loss of your precious mother. Corkey was always kind to us as children and generous in spirit. In all of our years growing up we never heard an unkind word come from her. She was a genuinely “nice” person. Our mother loved her and always enjoyed talking with her either on the phone or in person. Mother shared many happy memories about the fun they all had while living in Shamokin. Your memories will make you smile and will keep your love alive. God Bless all of you.

  • I first met Florence (guess I never knew your first name) straight out of the Army in February 1974. I stayed with her family for a couple of weeks awaiting my car via ship from Germany. From our first moments together, Corkey treated me like a son. She was a warm, friendly person, who was kindhearted and generous. I was very grateful. Those who love us never go away. I hope you know that even during this dark time, your Mother will always be with you in spirit. My condolences dear brother Harry and family. Rest in Peace…always…Jim…
