Franklin Andrew “Andy” White
June 29, 1974 - November 12, 2024
Franklin Andrew “Andy” White, age 50, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on June 29, 1974, he was the son of Diane V. (Kowalski) White and the late Franklin W. “Whitey” White. Andy proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a carman at Amtrak in Bear for 12 years.
In his spare time, Andy loved to play darts or go to the firing range. He will always be remembered as a blunt person who wanted to get straight to the point. Most of all, Andy will be remembered for his selflessness and willingness to always help anyone in need.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Tonya R. Parag-White; children, Skye-Marie Parag and Coral White; mother, Diane V. White; and nephew, Jesse Meredith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 11 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or online by clicking here.
