Helen A. Krist

Helen A. Krist, age 94, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 31, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Tocavich) Eirikis. Helen retired as an office worker at Haverford Hospital in Pennsylvania. A devout Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church. Helen enjoyed sewing, crocheting and ceramic crafting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kristekas; sons, Stanley Kristekas, Jr. and Joseph Kristekas; daughter, Carol Ann Bailey; and son-in-law, Ronald Bailey. Helen is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Kristekas; grandchildren, Stanley Kristekas III (Donna), Michelle Comroe (Bob), Kristin Plummer (David); and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Delaware Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, #205, New Castle, DE 19720.

God blessed us with this wonderful, strong and gracious women and now has taken her into his kingdom to rest and enjoy eternal salvation with him and the rest of the family. She will forever be missed, but her love lives on in our hearts. Our prayers are with you.
