Helen Elizabeth (Rapp) Sinibaldi

March 12, 1939 - September 11, 2021

Helen Elizabeth (Rapp) Sinibaldi, 82, of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly at her summer home in Lewes, DE on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 12, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William and Helen Rapp. Known for her love of all God’s creatures, Helen had a special love for all of her grandchildren. Throughout her life, she maintained a loving and caring demeanor of constant nurturing love for all those she considered family.

Helen met her sweetheart, Anthony R. Sinibaldi, while the two were attending Kearny High School in Kearny, NJ. The couple was soon married on August 25, 1956. Anthony was Helen’s reason to live, and they both strived to make their life together what they always dreamt it would be. Helen was a devoted mother who treasured her children. She embraced every moment she spent with them throughout the years. Helen especially cherished her role as a grandmother and showed her grandbabies the best of herself, and the best in themselves, always.

Helen’s surviving family members are numerous, but mainly include her husband of 65 years, Anthony R. Sinibaldi, Sr. of Newark; their four children, Renee Wible (Jeffrey) of Newark, Yvonne Rollins of Harrington, Anthony R. Sinibaldi, Jr. (Wanda) of Newark, and Marcus Sinibaldi (Tracey) of Middletown; and seven grandchildren, Dominique Navarro, Julio Navarro, Jr., Anthony Sinibaldi III, Savanah Rollins, Antonia Sinibaldi, Amber Wible, and Nicholas Sinibaldi.

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to Alley Cat Allies, P.O. Box 98179, Washington, D.C 20077 or online by clicking here.

Beyond financial contributions, Helen always extoled the Golden Rule: “Treat others the way you would like to be treated”. The family requests that you perform a loving act of kindness, make someone laugh, offer a hug, or say “I love you” to those in your life in her memory.
