Jacqueline F. Cook, age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Chester Francis Moore and Mary (Jones) Faragher. Jacqueline was a dedicated homemaker in her early years while raising 9 children. She worked for Bosco’s from 1979 until 2002, and was an executive assistant for Hugh Black Enterprise for over 40 years. Jacqueline had a passion for playing pool, a craft she developed for more than 30 years that earned her placement in many pool tournaments. She enjoyed dining out and caring for her dogs, Cinnamon and Harley. Most of all, Jacqueline cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Cook, Jr.; children, Sherry Cook and James Cook III; brother, John Moore; and sisters-in-law, Helen Moore and Eleanor Cornelious. She is survived by her children, Karen Rynkowski (Henry), Terry Costanzo (Louis), John Cook, Randie Cook, Renee Cook, Ronald Cook and Michael Cook; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Welch (Clinton); 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 8 nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Service and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacqueline’s memory to Delaware Hospice, 16 Polly Drummond Center, Second Floor, Newark, DE 19711.
