Jacquelyn S. Krepelka
May 2, 1950 - July 26, 2024
Jacquelyn S. Krepelka, age 74, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024.
Born in Camden, NJ on May 2, 1950 and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John Lawrence Rominski and Rose Rita Forgione-Rominski. Jacquelyn worked as a retail manager at Marburns. She was a hard worker and loved staying active throughout her life and loved the store so much that after she retired, she decided to go back and work part-time. Jacquelyn was a selfless person who loved her daughters, grandchildren & great grandchildren unconditionally and wanted & prayed for the best for them. In her younger years she loved going to the shore with her family in Margate or Wildwood Nj and vacationing with her daughter and grandson. She loved dancing, cooking, cleaning and doating on people. She took great pride in her home and when she put on Elton John, you knew it was “cleaning time”
Later in life she enjoyed her lunch and dinner dates with her girlfriends and became an avid Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies fan. She would sit on the phone or facetime her girlfriends so they could watch or talk about the game.
In addition to her parents, Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Krepelka. She is survived by her daughters, Cherie Connor (Ed) and Sharon Visalli; grandchildren, Nicholas Visalli, Hayley Visalli and Logan Fulton; great-grandchildren, Michael McGinley IV and Isabella Micucci; brother, Jay Rominski; sister, Joyce Elkins and best friend of 50 years, Susan Wathey.
A private interment will be held in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacquelyn’s name to Jefferson Hospital, Office of Institutional Advancement, Department 825434, P.O. Condolences on the passing of your mom. She will be missed by anyone who knew her. She was a true trooper whether at work or on vacation. We had some good times and she never let herself get down even when camping in the rain which happened every time we went together She was truly a good person
