Janet Joan Rebarchak

Janet Joan Rebarchak, age 75, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Born in Highland, PA, on October 2, 1948, she was a daughter of the late George Wizda and Mary T. (Kopchinski) Janus. She made her career in serving and cooking at various restaurants and retired doing so.

Mrs.Rebarchak enjoyed camping with her family, going to the casino, and cooking for anyone who would stop by for a visit. In her free time, she also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with those who made her happy.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Wizda, John Wizda, Geraldine Lozechnik, and Theresa Salko. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Edward Joseph Rebarchak; children, Edward Rebarchak, Brian Rebarchak (Sharon), and Glen Rebarchak (Kim); granddaughter, Klarissa Rebarchak; brothers, George Wizda, Jerry Wizda, Edmund Wizda, and Ronald Wizda; and sisters, Thelma Bartus, Joanie Sarosky, and Elaine Trackim.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
