Jeffrey R. Fell
January 3, 1964 - December 23, 2023
Jeffrey R. Fell, age 59, of Middletown, DE, gained his angel wings peacefully in the loving arms of his wife, Andrea on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Born in Wilmington on January 3, 1964, he was a son of the late James R. and Elizabeth A. (Veasey) Fell. Jeff made his career as a dedicated and hardworking employee of Martom Landscaping, for 41 years. His career led him to know the state of Delaware like the back of his hand and he received many accolades and forged many professional relationships for a job well done.
To know Jeff was to know how kind, smart, funny, respectful and a good listener he was to all he met. He always saw the good in people and offered his silver lining advice. In his time away from work, Jeff was a car enthusiast and a collector of only Mopars. His motto was “Mopar or no car.” As soon as the weather warmed, Jeff enjoyed eating and cooking crabs with family and friends poolside. Jeff adored his fur kids, Sammi and the late Sawyer. He was a well-traveled guy who visited places up and down the east coast, which included some of his favorite places like Key West and the annual Outer Banks vacations. Jeff also traveled as far as Hawaii, Venezuela, Caribbean and most recently, a return trip to Turks and Caicos. He even had the opportunity to travel by helicopter and seaplane. Jeff was very knowledgeable about classic rock and heavy metal music and had quite a collection of various genres from all decades. He and his brother, Mike, were frequent concert attendees of various rock legends. On Sunday mornings, Jeff could often be found laughing at the Three Stooges antics with a cup of coffee. There are a million great things about Jeff that could be said, but most of all, he was just a great guy that will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Until we meet again….
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jack Pearce and mother-in-law, Ellen Pearce. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Andrea J. (Pearce) Fell; siblings, Gerald Scheibe (Delores), Sheryl Rector (Ernie), C.J. Wortham (Kenny), Maxann Noelke (Charlie), Michael Fell (Cathi), James Fell and Scott Fell; brother-in-law, Andrew Pearce; best friend, Michael Subda (Paula); and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will be held privately. The family encourages anyone with a classic car to bring it to the funeral service in memory of Jeff.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 290 Churchmans Road, New Castle, DE 19720 or by clicking here.

My sympathies go out to his family. I grew up with Jeff and have many wonderful memories of him. He was funny and always kind to me. He was just a great guy.
I really haven’t seen much of him since we all grew up and got on with our own lives but I’m sure he was still the same great guy he always was.

The last few years we have become good friends with Jeff. He was so easy to talk to. We wish we could’ve had many more Outter Banks vacations together. We will cherish the ones we had. When you were his friend you knew it. We’re so lucky to have known Jeff, we wish we had many more years. Our hearts go out to Andrea, and all his family❤️❤️
