Joanne Woodward-Foote

Joanne Woodward-Foote, age 58, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly at her residence on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on August 25, 1960, Joanne was a daughter of Paul C. Woodward and the late Florence S. (Lewis) Hannum. She worked as a rental agent for several car rental agencies, most recently for Avis. Family was everything to Joanne. She loved being a mom and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren every chance she got.
In addition to her mother, Joanne was preceded in death by her siblings, John Woodward and Terry Duman. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Otis R. Foote, Jr.; children, Otis R. Foote III (Stephanie), Shawn Foote (Carly Stranahan), and Jennifer Foote; brothers, Paul and Bruce Woodward; sister, Patty Forster; stepfather, Harold Hannum; stepsister, Crystal Goldthwaite; and 4 grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 1 pm until 2 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with funeral expenses may be made to Otis R. Foote, Jr., c/o Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE 19720.
