John J. Breznitsky
February 15, 1952 - June 13, 2022
John J. Breznitsky, age 70, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, June 13, 2022.
Born in Hazleton, PA, on February 15, 1952, he was a son of the late John E. and Mary T. (Kendra) Breznitsky. John was an ironworker out of Local # 451, retiring after 42 years of service.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating and fishing. John was a known handyman and spent a lot of time working around his house. He had an interest in classic cars and enjoyed an occasional car show. John was a long-time member of St. Anthony’s Club and St. Gabriel’s Lodge. He loved spending time at the beach, especially Rehoboth boardwalk with his grandchildren. Family is what meant the most to John and he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and spoiling them.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his step-son, David Jochen, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda D. (Lloyd) Breznitsky; step-daughter, Angela Allen; grandchildren, Tabatha McLachlan (Michael), and Alyssa Allen; great-grandchildren, Elliott McLachlan, and Riley McLachlan; siblings, Jimmy Breznitsky; Rosemary Coleman (Brian), and Thomas Breznitsky (Debbie); and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.

I went to Holy Spirit School with John, he was a good guy! Hadn’t seen him in quite a while, and I am sad to read he is gone. Rip!
