Joseph Edward “Joe” Daniels, Jr., age 70, of Camden, DE, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE on December 4, 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph Edward and Frances (Babock) Daniels, Sr. Joe was a graduate of William Penn High School. Following graduation, he joined the Delaware Air National Guard, where he made his career for the next 33 years, retiring as Master Sargent. Joe’s next career was in real estate, where he enjoyed working with his wife for the next 12 years. During his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking, traveling in his R.V., fishing, and dancing. Most of all, Joe enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine and Marilee. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 36 years, Carol Ann (Succarotte) Daniels; his children, Ronangelo Succarotte (Cyndi), Mark Succarotte (Jocelyn) and Jason Daniels (Kari); many grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Interment will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
