Joyce F. Argoe, age 65, of Earleville, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

Born in Elkton, MD on March 17, 1955, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Mabel E. (Guhl) Frazer. Joyce was a member of the Chesapeake City VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was loved by all of her customers from the Sub shop and Food Lion location, where she worked. She was famous for her crab imperial and eclair pie, and her constant efforts to make people happy. Joyce enjoyed watching birds outside as well as the new water view from her front porch. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially taking long, scenic rides with her husband of 45 years.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Wilbur Argoe III and brothers, Ernie Frazer and Robin Frazer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wilbur C. โ€œJunieโ€ Argoe, Jr.; children, Mandy Webster (Corey) of Earleville, MD and Jason Argoe (Stacy) of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Justin Way, Jackson Argoe, Michael Mandl and Lily Argoe; siblings, Linda Squire (Rick) of Florida and Dan Frazer (Mary) of Galena, MD; canine companion, Daisy (black lab); and many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services will be held privately.

I have such good memories of our families when we were younger and don’t really know how we grew apart, but please know your in my thoughts and prayers. I had such good times with Joyce when we were little, my parents took her every summer for two weeks. We did Hershey park, Lenape park, etc. I guess my parents knew I needed a friend!!!
