June Zito, age 69, of Townsend, DE, and formerly of Sewell, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 27, 1951, she was a daughter of the late John and Marie (Winters) Powell. June was a talented seamstress and cook. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and Hawaii with her husband and playing the slots at Dover Downs and Atlantic City. June could often be found shopping at her favorite store, Kohls. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy White and brother, Patrick Powell. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Salvatore Zito, Jr.; sons, Salvatore Zito III (Sara Rockhold) of Smyrna, Joseph Zito of Smyrna and Troy Zito of Townsend; sister, Elizabeth Steilberg of Louisville, KY; brother, John Powell of Bridgeton, NJ; and grandchildren, Brittany and Salvatore Zito IV, Emma, Eryn and Landen Bonsall, and Gianna Zito.

Services and interment will be held privately.
