Kathleen A. Galbraith

Kathleen A. Galbraith, age 73, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022.

Born on January 21, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathleen (McKeever) Schmidt. Kathleen received an associates degree from Goldey-Beacom College.

She had many pleasures in life including shopping and cooking for friends and family. In her leisure time Kathleen enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake. She loved caring for her pet dogs and cherished time spent with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Galbraith. She is survived by her loving daughter, Megan K. Moore (Gregory); siblings, Mary Anne D’Amelio, Barbara Snyder, and Michael Schmidt; grandchildren, Charlotte and Finnegan; and partner, Edward Wrotnewski.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 11 am until 12 noon on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be held privately.
