Kelley S. Garrett, age 59, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Born in New Castle, DE on November 8, 1963, she was a daughter of Joyce (Rodichok) Rodgers and the late James Rodgers. Kelley worked as a custodian at Colonial School District for many years.
Kelley often looked forward to spending time tending to her beautiful garden. When she was ready to relax, she could be found playing with her beloved pets or cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies. Kelley enjoyed giving back to her community as a dedicated member of the Wilmington Manor Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Above all, Kelley loved her family and making memories with them.
Always one to help and donate when she could, Kelley was able to make the greatest donation of life to others through Gift of Life.
Kelley was preceded in death by her father, James Rodgers. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert R. Garrett; children, Josh Garrett (Natasha), Dylan Garrett, and Evan Garrett, all of New Castle; mother, Joyce Rodgers of Florida; siblings, Scott Rodgers (Karina) of Pennsylvania and Kim Rodgers of Elsmere; and 2 grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 pm until 3 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 3 pm. Interment will be held privately.

I want you to know how sorry I am that Kelley was called home. Find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and not in any pain or suffering any more. Her spirit, her soul will remain with you guys..
