Lisa L. Honaker, age 48, of Bear, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Born in Dover, DE on June 3, 1972, she was a daughter of Bonnie S. (Walstrum) McClelland and the late Lawrence Lasko. Lisa was a graduate of Elkton High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outside in the sunshine swimming, singing and listening to music. Lisa loved her children and was looking forward to becoming a grandmother to Kayliana. She was so proud of her son, Chas, for graduating high school and planning to attend college in Colorado. Lisa also loved animals, especially her dog, Troy.

In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by her daddy, George P. McClelland. She is survived by her boyfriend, Anthony “TJ” Tomme; mother, Bonnie McClelland (Bob Mudri); children, Heather Boyer (Nick Bechara) and Charles Honaker, Jr.; and siblings, Sally Mabus (Eric) and George B. McClelland (Megan).

A public visitation will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, in compliance with COVID-19 regulations. Services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa’s memory to the Brandywine SPCA, 600 South Street, New Castle, DE 19720.

You were my best friend and I loved you very much I hope that you are up there with your daddy looking down on us with that beautiful smile of yours. And I know that you will always watch over me and make sure I am safe and till I see you again I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU like I did from the very first day I ever met you!!
