Lucinda Ann “Cindy” Stidoms, age 59, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Born in Grundy, VA on October 8, 1961, Cindy was a daughter of the late Rev. Franklin D. and Dorothy M. (Stacy) Rose. She worked as a commercial seamstress for many years. Cindy was a talented homemaker, cherishing the ability to raise her daughter, Christie. During that period, she was also active in the ministry for over 20 years. In her spare time, Cindy was an avid pianist. It was very important to Cindy to be a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Christina R. “Christie” Goddard (Daniel); and her three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas “Bubba”, and Sara Goddard.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Services will be officiated by Reverend William Broughton. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery, 2839 DuPont Highway, Middletown, DE.
