          Marlene P. Talmadge, age 80, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020.

          Born in Newark, NJ on November 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Raphael Delaney and Cora (Peterson) Smith.  Marlene worked for the Belleville Board of Education as a bus driver for many years.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Allan Talmadge; sister, Gail Delaney; and brother, Martin Delaney.  Marlene is survived by her children, Barry Delaney of Tucson, AZ, Todd Talmadge (Erin) of Newark, DE, Marlene T. Allen (James) of Aberdeen, NJ, Troy Talmadge (Claudia) of Tucson, AZ and Marquis Talmadge (Ivette) of Lyndhurst, NJ; brothers, Gilbert Delaney (Helen) of East Orange, NJ and Raphael Delaney (Elizabeth) of Red Bank, NJ; 15 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

          All services will be held privately.
