Patricia Ann “Pat” Lutte

Patricia Ann “Pat” Lutte, age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022.

Born in Berlin, MD, on January 10, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Yearly and Beulah (Godfrey) Powell. Pat was raised in Selbyville, DE, graduating from Selbyville High School in 1961. For many years, she worked as a hairdresser at Ritz Hair Gallery until her retirement. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Wilson Lutte.  She is survived by her husband, Don Elmer Lutte; daughters, Tamara Averell (John) and Karen Justison (Johnny); brother, Floyd Powell (Deborah); sister-in-law, Eileen Powell; granddaughters, Lauren Gates (Jack), Katharine Averell (Melissa), and Brooke Justison (David); great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Gates; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pat’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
