Patrick Alexander “Pat” Giannetti, Sr.

Patrick Alexander “Pat” Giannetti, Sr., age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Born in Montclair, NJ, on December 13, 1942. He was the son of the late Patsy and Elizabeth (Betz) Giannetti. Pat made his career as a member of the teamsters who drove for Fedway Associates. He was a hardworking and kind man who had a great sense of humor. Pat enjoyed flying in his earlier days, and sang in a barbershop quartet. He also took pleasure in bowling, baseball, and rooting for the New York Yankees. Pat loved traveling, and visited many places with the love of his life, Gayle. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and a dear grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Samantha Giannetti and Michael Giannetti, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Gayle Theresa (Guldbech) Giannetti and sons, Robert Giannetti (Elyse) and Michael Giannetti (Karine).

All services will be held privately.
