Paul T. McCartney

Paul T. McCartney, age 76, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on December 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul T. and Ruth (Adkins) McCartney, Sr. Paul earned his associate degree in respiratory therapy from Delaware Technical Community College. He made his career as an exemplary respiratory therapist for St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington Hospital and Christiana Hospital. Paul was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers. He took pleasure in photographing historic homes and wildlife along with pampering his pet cats. Paul will be remembered for his big heart and outstanding service to others.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert McCartney, Joseph McCartney and Curtis McCartney and feline companions, Gallahad and Angelique. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 40 years, Chris McCartney; children, Gareth McCartney, Taryn Stromberg and Erianne McCartney; granddaughter, Andromeda Stromberg; and feline companions, Tristan, Juliette, Lissette and Yvette.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, Delaware 19804.
