Ralph Raymond Kuhn, Jr.

Ralph Raymond Kuhn, Jr., age 94, of Landenberg, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 with his family by his side.
Born in Orrville, OH on April 6, 1927, he was the son of the late Ralph Raymond Kuhn, Sr. and Mary P. (Miller) Kuhn. Ralph graduated from Greensburg High School in Greensburg, PA. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy from March 28, 1945 until August 11, 1946, when he was honorably discharged. Ralph then went on to attend Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering on August 11, 1950. After college, Ralph moved to Harford County Maryland where he met his wife Ruth Ann and worked for the Aberdeen Proving Ground for over 30 years.
In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed model railroading, gardening, watching his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and taking summer vacations in Avalon, NJ with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, Robert M. Kuhn. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth Ann (Harvey) Kuhn; children, Leslie A. Kuhn, David A. Kuhn, and Mary Beth (Kuhn) Drew, son-in-law Bradley Drew; and grandchildren, Amanda Drew, Alexis Drew, Daniel Drew, Nicole Kuhn, and Eric Kuhn.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will follow in New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1986 Newark Rd, Lincoln University, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ralph’s memory to West Grove Fire Company Ambulance, PO Box 242, West Grove, PA 19390-0242 or to Bayada Hospice of Chester County, 390 Waterloo Boulevard, Suite 220, Exton, PA, 19341.
