Richard B. Smoot, age 90, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Elsie; loving children, Steven and his wife Betty, Lisa and her husband Bill, Lynne and her husband Dave, Sharon and her husband Bill, and David; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 pm until 2:30 pm on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
