  • I’m doing my best at this time
To write down this somber rhyme
Uncle Bob, I have so much to say
Now that you have gone way
We didn’t make much time together on this earth
Maybe in the afterlife we can correct that.
So for now we’ll say our goodbyes
As so many tears fill my eyes
And I hope you’ll remember the happiness
you gave to oh so many, and good old Mike Kline

  • It’s been almost 3 years. Since we last talked i’ve tried to become the man you are, it’s not something you can replicate no matter how hard i try. i come back to this once in awhile when i think of you. it helps me reflect and find peace, it’s not the same as the rides back to the docks but it unlocks those memories for me. i miss you i really do as many do. i don’t know where i’m going with this honestly. i’m doing good, we’re all doing good. i think of those christmas dinners, super bowl parties, thanksgivings, and days upon days on the bay. i cherish those memories. i appreciate the knowledge i learned from you. i regret not acknowledging the amount of time we had together. i wish we could have one more stop at the bait shop before we headed out on the water. i’ll come back and reflect on this and may even write you again. until then farewell. i hope got that granddaddy buck you’ve been looking for.
