Robert Harry “Bob” Schorah

Robert Harry “Bob” Schorah, age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on September 1, 1938, he was a son of the late William J. and Margaret (McGowan) Schorah. Bob attended Wilmington public schools. He was employed at Wilmington Sash and Door Lumbar and Garrett Miller Appliance Warehouse for many years.

Bob was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed bowling through the Lumberman’s League and several other leagues. Bob also enjoyed playing golf, watching cooking shows, and eating crabs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert S. Schorah; siblings, Peggy, Joseph, and Jerome; and cat, Ginger. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean (Krajewski) Schorah; son, Kristian Schorah (Christine); grandchildren, Emma and Noah; brothers, William Schorah (Elsie) and George Schorah (Sherri); and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at St. Hedwig R.C. Church, 408 South Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
