Mr. Ronald W. Shupe, known fondly as “Ron,” age 54, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013.
A native Delawarean, Ron was born in Wilmington on April 25, 1959, son of the late Geraldine and Everett Shupe. He made his career as a roofer.
Ron loved spending time on the water throughout his life; one of his favorite pastimes was crabbing. A devoted husband and father, he especially enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for his family, whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Sally L. O’Connor Shupe; sons, Keith A. Shupe of Wilmington and Jesse A. Shupe of Newark; and sisters, Debbie and Denise.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12 noon to 3 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Police & Fire Rod & Gun Club, 1 S. Glen Avenue, New Castle.
