Roseann Stacy, age 73, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE on October 25, 1947, Roseann was a daughter of the late William Harris and Louise (Falone) Zak. She worked as the head of shipping for Factors Etc. Inc. in Bear, retiring after a lengthy career. In her spare time, Roseann enjoyed crafting and had a known obsession with Facebook, posting and sharing all types of updates. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Roseann was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Stacy; grandchildren, Whitney Poe and Ryan Chando; and brother, William Harris. She is survived by her children, Penny A. Deel (Jerry) of Camden Wyoming, John E. Stacy (Annamaria) of Dover, Keith E. Stacy of New Castle, and Kristin Lewis (Donald) of Findlay, OH; grandchildren, Wayne Hamm, Jr. (Jordynn), Brandi McClain (Adam), Skylar Stacy, Britney Keiser (Blaine), Kyle Poe, Josh Deel, and Jessica Narron (John); sister, Cathy Arthurs; a host of great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11:30 am, on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the Governor of Delaware. A committal service will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 11, 2021, in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
