Stewart Eliott Thomas, age 60, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 25, 1961, he was a son of the late Clifton Albert and Georgia Elizabeth (Bell) Thomas. Stewart graduated from William Penn High School in 1979. He was a lifelong auto mechanic, working most recently for 1st Choice Auto and Truck Repair.
Stewart was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR and the Yankees. He enjoyed riding on his Harley many years ago. Stewart was an animal lover, and especially loved his cat, Margaret.
In addition to his parents, Stewart was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Wood. He is survived by his brother, Paul C. Thomas; niece, Jennifer Snyder (Clifford); great-nieces, Brittany Snyder and Sarah Snyder; great-nephew, Noah Snyder; many cousins and dear friends.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Stewart’s memory to Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE, 19713.

RIP Stew, I remember when I started school at Delawarr mom said don’t get a crush on Stewart Thomas he’s your cousin…..lol. Mom took me to Aunt Betty’s alot and I didn’t think she had kids because you guys were never there or in your rooms. But I did know she was THE Avon lady!! Way too young to go cuz.
