Susanne E. Cook

April 2, 1967 - December 29, 2024

Susanne E. Cook, age 57, of Salisbury, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

Born in Aberdeen, MD on April 2, 1967, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Barbara (Hill) Cook. She was lovingly known to her family and friends as “Queen Elizabeth”.

Susanne was eager to attend church with her deaf community every week for fellowship. She loved to go bowling, play Bingo, or make bracelets and necklaces in her spare time. Susanne especially enjoyed Archery, and was very proud to hit bullseyes, despite her disability of being blind. She also had a passion for horses. Susanne will always be remembered for her love, patience, and as an angel who always brightened up every room.

Susanne is survived by her brother, Charles A. Cook and his wife, Deanna M. Cook; niece and nephew, Dayla P. Cook and Hayden A. Cook; great nephew, Waylon A. Cook; and close friends, George and Karen Miller.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 1 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be held privately in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susanne’s memory to DeafBlind Camp of Maryland, 1040 S. Beechfield Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 or online by clicking here.
