Wayne A. Young

Wayne A. Young passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Grand Blanc, Michigan surrounded by loved ones.

Wayne was born on October 26, 1963, in Wilmington, Delaware to John and Mildred Young. Wayne was employed at General Motors. Wayne loved music, loved playing guitar, and enjoyed playing in a band. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and proud grandfather.

Wayne will be remembered with much love by his wife, Mary (Beatson) Young; his children, Jennifer Young and Kevin Young; granddaughter, Cayla Reeder; his mother, Mildred Young; brothers, John (Ona-Kai) Young, Brian Young; sister, Linda Young; many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Young.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am.
