Willard Anthony “Will” Wilson

Willard Anthony “Will” Wilson, age 73, of Bear, DE, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020.
Born in Wilmington, DE on October 3, 1946, he was a son of the late Willard George and Julia (O’Connor) Wilson. Will graduated from DeLaWarr High School in 1964. He joined Holloway Terrace Fire Company at the age of 16, where he was a life member. Following his graduation, Will enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served 2 years, as well as the Army National Guard, serving 6 years. He was a teamster, retiring from Shellhorn & Hill after 38 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Will enjoyed fishing. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Will was preceded in death by his sons, Christopher Wilson and Michael Wilson; and sisters, Judy Wilson and Helen Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Jean A. (Mitchell) Wilson; son, William Wilson; grandchildren, Kayla Wilson and Michael Wilson, Jr.; and siblings, Georgianna Conner, Julie Wilson and Joseph Wilson.
All services will be held privately.
