William Joseph “Billy” Insinga

December 9, 1973 - February 14, 2018

William Joseph Billy Insinga, age 44, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Wilmington, DE on December 9, 1973. Billy dedicated his career as a machinist with Associated Truck Parts in New Castle for over 20 years.

Family was very important to Billy and he will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed helping others and was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish.

Billy is survived by his wife, Bettene Miranda Pereira; son, William Carl Pereira Insinga; father, Vincent F. Insinga (Martha) of Sun City Center, FL; mother, Cynthia Insinga of Frankford; siblings, Vincent Insinga and Stefhanie Insinga-Ash both of Greenwood; step-siblings Rick Pruett and Patty Tynes (Hector) both of Virginia; and nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 11 am on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Margaret of Scotland R.C. Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark, DE, where a memorial mass will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William Carl Pereira Insinga Education Fund, care of Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, 19720.
